Ski Bluebird – A Passion for Food & Skiing with Jimmy Garcia

Jimmy Garcia, a familiar face for Flux renowned for his pop-up-restaurants and supper clubs, is collaborating with two friends on a new venture: a food-centric chalet company, tucked away in the idyllic, snowy, scenic setting of Courchevel, France, one of the world’s most premier ski resorts.

This is certainly about as far removed as you can get from the urban surroundings of his previous project in Stratford (where we last caught up with Jimmy), but Ski Bluebird’s menu lives up to the gold-medal success of his past food-exploits.

If his offering of Spiced Pear, Blue Cheese and Walnut Crostini Smoke duck breast, followed by a mouth-watering Chocolate and Hazelnut Fondant with Brandy Infused Cream doesn’t tempt you to jet off to France, then perhaps the balcony hot tubs surrounded by snow, open-fires, endless ski slopes and husky-drawn sled rides will. Given, his passion and dedication for food, there is no doubt that Jimmy will exceed all expectations. Flux will be visiting Ski Bluebird in December.
