Damir Doma Archive at LN-CC

Today sees the launch of LN-CC’s Damir Doma archive sale featuring pieces that span the designer’s entire career, starting with his second collection all the way to AW12.

An exciting selection for men’s wear connoisseurs, the archive consists of 50 key, mostly runway and editorial pieces, including a striped grey cardigan with belt detail from SS09 – undeniably, a pioneering example of Damir’s earlier work. Other notable pieces are a selection of grey and blue tie-die, from one of his earliest shows that earned a special place during his introduction to the world.

Damir Doma as a designer is a purist and, as a person, a real gentleman, and there is no question that the designer has made a huge impression on men’s wear. His early shows displayed a supreme air and atmosphere that had not been seen since Raf Simons shows of the early 2000’s. Since then his collections have been creative, consistent and visionary. A master of design and, whilst maybe not to everyone’s taste, nobody can argue that he has, in a design landscape that can be stale and mono syllabic, created his own aesthetic and brought a fresh take to men’s wear.

LN-CC’s John Skelton says of Doma, “We realised from an early point of Doma’s career that his collections were undoubtedly going to be a key brand in the fashion landscape for years to come. His strong designs and unique colourways subsequently made us ensue his debut work with conviction. Some 6 years later we are seeing some of the most progressive presentations, product and styling across a broad range of current menswear offerings. These bold demonstrations make this a good time to reflect on some of the highlights through a comprehensive archive of what we consider to be some of the most iconic pieces Damir has produced to date.”

The fifty piece Damir Doma Archive will be live at LN-CC.COM from 9:30GMT, Monday July 15th.
