Many of us love the idea of a Superhero. That all our worldy woes can be vanquished in the blink of an eye by a lycra wearing, muscle clad good guy. Alberto Raviglione has created his own superhero, SpiderBear and the following images tell his story…
“Superman can move an entire lake to tame a fire, but can do nothing to control your anxiety.
Batman defeated Two-Face in the name of an ideal, but can shed no light on your dark side.
Storm sweeps away his enemies like a tornado, but it is just a breeze for your evil thoughts.
Hulk has nothing of incredible, the boredom crushes you with more force.
All of these superheroes, they all lack tact and delicacy, only coarse-mannered dudes
Spiderbear is different.
Spiderbear understood falling from a skyscraper is better than a lack of style which is vital for a man to go beyond the sense of the ridiculous and then weaves his web to imprison the anxiety and guilt, neurosis, and any other disturbance.
Supernova explosions, rain of fire!
Spiderbear you save us from the epic battles, because the battle of Superman excites the usual passion, and you, hanging by a sparkling thread, free us from the pathetic mechanism.”
