Before his career as an artist, Marko Stout lived on a houseboat in the San Francisco Bay. During this time, a friend who owned an art gallery inspired Stout to seek out a career as an artist. Though he had the talent, he had never attempted to make anything of it until then. As he developed his skill, Marko was fortunate to sell his first pieces in his friend’s gallery which helped him to launch into a successful career as an artist.

Today Stout resides and is well known in social circles in New York City and says that a lot of his work is inspired by the city around him. Pulling from the vibrant art scenes in Chelsea and downtown New York, his work is filled with the raw, glamorous vibe of the city.
