How to turn ‘one of those days’ into a berry good day with The Berry Company.
You know what it’s like what you’re having a bad day – it can start with the smallest thing and end up in disaster. With me it’s usually when I’m tired and running late.
My decision making prowess leaves me and I end up all confused, frustrated and getting things all wrong.
It seems I’m not alone. According to some recent research we Brits know what kind of day we’re in for by 8.12 am. On average we know we’re in for ‘one of those days’ at least once a week. It’s the tiniest thing though that can turn what seems like is going to be an ordinary day into a bad one. A silly, throwaway comment from your partner as you leave home, a bad hair day, even wearing the wrong shoes can set a train of events into motion that ends up in one of those awful days.
So is it possible to stop the tide of events and turn what seems like is going to be a bad day back into a good one? Well The Berry Company set out to do just that.
The sent their newly appointed CMO (Chief Mood Officer) onto the streets of Shoreditch at that ungodly hour just before work. His mission was to intervene in the nicest, most helpful way possible to see if he could turn those bad days into good ones with simple acts of kindness. As you can see from the video he initially meets some resistance from the general public – eventually though passers-by were getting and giving out hugs, being handed free umbrellas to protect them from the rain and even getting free fivers. He flagged down and paid for taxis for a few lucky people whose stressed faces all turned to smiles so it seems to have worked.
