OH! MY DOG – Chi He – Central Saint Martins graduate

Chi He is a fresh Central Saint Martins graduate from the fashion print pathway.  These amazing images are of her graduate collection ‘OH! MY DOG’.

Chi Hi studied traditional printing and sketching during childhood in her hometown of Shanghai, China. In the summer of 2011 she graduated from Central Saint Martins with her final menswear collection is based around the story of a dog and his owner. The collection caught our eye with its innovative silhouettes and unexpected colour combinations. All her collections are infused with her own very particular sense of humour and the way she challenges traditional menswear design. This enables her to stay creative and playful whist portraying a strong story and identity. After interning with Jeremy Scott and Eley kishimoto, she became really influenced by the strong and vivid style of certain cartoons and found herself drawn to the charm of screen-printing. Her goal is to create a brand that has the same spirit as Disneyland and that reminds people of their childhood dreams of happiness and purity…
