Creme de la Mer resurrecting our skin for Spring

We’re all in need of some assistance to bring us out of the dark days of winter. And now spring is in sight we’re looking for some serious regeneration. And why not look to one of the best in the business with their scientific and innovative underwate approach to luxury skincare.

Creme de la Mer is a brand well known for the success of its skincare regimes. The famous elixir is based on aerospace physicist, Dr. Max Huber’s experiments to come up with a treatment to improve the appearance of his scars from a lab accident. His twelve year experiment resulted in his pioneering formulae based on sea kelp and bio-fermentation.

The Creme de la Mer range is perhaps overshadowed by the famous Creme de la Mer Moisturising Cream, which might make you overlook the rest of what is a fabulous luxury skincare range – especially if you’ve tried the cream and found it too heavy. You may think this is a range for older skin, but in fact there is a wealth of product on offer here, all created using the Creme de la Mer principles, with the core moisturising products going from the cream to lighter gels and lotions so that there is something for every age and skin type. Then there are serums, infusions and concentrates. Not to mention the skincolour cosmetics collection that we’ve tried out and are well worth a look. And if you fancy a trial, your nearest counter are happy to talk you through the products, en song with all the luxury brands.

For a pretty instant skincare boost, a great starting point is the Creme de la Mer Regenerating Serum. An extreme powerhouse that diminishes the appearance of lines, wrinkles and pores. The serum uses the brand’s lauded Miracle Broth with the Marine Peptide Ferment and the Regenerating Ferment. It gives the skin a more lifted look while helping to diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles, revealing a beautiful, refreshed look.

Plus if you feel like you deserve a treat for Valentines, or just to stave off the last days of cold cold winter, the Creme de la Mer luxurious lip balm is currently available in some gorgeously cute packaging in stores!

Creme de la Mer is available at counters in Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and House of Frase nationwide.  The Creme de la Mer lip balm is £37 and Regenerating Serum is £158.
