A meeting of minds is on the cards for this most British of collaborations. Equestrian loving Lavenham snuggle up with London fashion duo, Eley Kishimoto, for the country brand’s latest quilted offering.
Eley Kishimoto, founded by Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto in the early 1990s, are famous for their directional graphic prints that have the ability to instantly update and transform whatever they are applied to. Which means Eley Kishimoto is perfect for collaborations. The pair have brought their innovative fashion sensibility to brands from Cacharel, where they were briefly creative directors, to kitsch jewellery designers Tatty Devine, as well as industry’s big hitters BMW and Apple.
The Eley Kishimoto signature design is their lightening Flash print, both angular and swirling at the same time. And for autumn you will be able to get your hands on the monochrome lightening Flash print emblazoned all over some of Lavenham’s classic quilted jackets. If you want to keep it to yourself, the print is on the lining of the Raydon style. Or to stand out in the crowd, get it on the outside of the Mickfield gillet.
Both quilted jackets are available for men or women, and have detachable hoods perfect for a showery British autumn!
Available from October 2012. For more on the Eley Kishimoto for Lavenham collection here
