Footballer Eric Abidal takes the Beko Challange

We all love a challenge especially when it’s football related. I recall when I was younger trying to kick a ball through a tyre swing near our house. It took me ages, so many tries, but I eventually got it through much to my great delight.

Well now legend and footballer Eric Abidal has taken on a challenge that even surpasses that. Beko, the washing machine people have invited many top players to take up their challenge.

FC Barcelona striker Luis Suárez was the first to have a go (he scored first time) and now it’s time for Eric Abidal to put himself on the line. The task was to kick a ball into the drum of one of their front loading washing machines. Sounds easy? Well, have a look at the video to see just how hard a challenge this really was. We get to see some younger future football stars giving it a go too.

The campaign fits with the Beko partnership with FC Barcelona who both support the notion of the importance of play. Beko are committed to giving customers more time to live their lives and explore through playfulness everyday with faster, smarter and flexible technology that fits with our modern lifestyles.
