Laura Bailey for Radley – Summer 2013 travel collection

A recent invitation to the Radley store in Manchester was a welcome surprise. The classic, premium bag brand is cutting the poses in the accessories stakes with a stylish, contemporary range that takes in all the bases from travel holdalls to work briefcases to clutches and purses.

It’s all about leather for Radley. So it may come as a surprise that stand out in store at Radley for summer this year is the brand’s second collaborative collection with brand ambassador, Laura Bailey, that has added a lighter feel for the warmer months to their wonderful leather offerings.

As model, writer, contributor to British Vogue and Cultural Ambassador to the British Fashion Council, Bailey has her own very British, yet very international personal style. And her range for Radley reflects all this for summer with bags in fine durable canvas with a premium tan leather trim. The collection has a light, vintage feel with neutral shades and timeless styling. The range is just perfect for those planning trips anywhere this summer. The smaller styles are perfect for days in the city, festival frolics and holiday essentials. Whilst the holdalls will see a lifetime of packing for longer journeys.

Talking of journeys, the range is inspired by Laura Bailey’s personal travel around the globe, from far flung tropical idylls to hazy days on the European Riviera, to hot city nights and picnics in the countryside, these are the ultimate travel companions. The new shapes include the Phoenix – a trusty travel holdall and our favourite, the Brewster – a wonderful circular shoulder bag inspired by a love for vintage cameras and their cases.

The Laura Bailey for Radley Summer collection is available in selected Radley stores now and online at www.radley.co.uk. Prices from £89 to £379.
