Snake in the Grass – Le Coq Sportif launch the Arthur Ashe Python Pack

We’ve been bitten! And this one is a snake bite to relish, with Le Coq Sportif launching the super elegant Arthur Ashe tennis shoe in a terrific all over python print or in brown leather with a python heel. And we’ve a pair to give away to a very lucky reader.

The relaunch of one of the French brand’s most iconic model has not been slow off the blocks, with no coyness from Le Coq Sportif with their 2015 launch programme. The Python Arthur Ashe pack follows the Made in France Full White and colette models of the shoe, making a grand total of three releases already this year.

The Arthur Ashe training shoe first appeared in 1964, named for the brand’s ambassador and French tennis star. Designed for use on both hard and clay fields, the Arthur Ashe is light and flexible, not to mention clean and elegant and made to withstand the rigours of a furious tennis game.

Evolving up until the 1980s, when the Ashe Prestige was launched, the Ashe gradually faded into the brand’s archives only to emerge now with the new iconic designs.

The Python issue is the first time the Arthur Ashe has come in a print, making it a real unique shoe to own. Add to the leather and python prints the tongue featuring tricolour trim, the signature, gold rivets and leather laces and you have a snake in the grass fit to grace any court or urban landscape.

To celebrate the launch of the Le Coq Spotif’s Python Arthur Ashe pack we are excited to be able to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of the Pythons in the size and style of their choice!
