Levi’s new Lot 700 jeans land this month promising a collection of best in class women’s jeans that will make it easier than ever for women to find their ultimate denim fit.
The new 700 series has its roots in the brand’s heritage and is inspired by the brand’s first ever women’s jeans. Created in 1934, Lady Levi’s Lot 701 were made iconic by the likes of Marilyn Monroe.
Eight decades later and Lady Levi’s lends its name to a new pioneering range that includes the latest in fabric innovations. Better-than-ever stretch and recovery, means wearers can kiss goodbye to knee sag and shape loss once and for all. Jonathan Cheung, Levi’s® Head of Design, says: “We designed these jeans to give the perfect shape – it’s not about making a small bum, it’s about making a great bum. The ‘ping’ in the fabric shows how the stretch technology is able to retain its shape, even after continual wear. From today, women have an entire range of 700 jeans dedicated entirely to making them look and feel fabulous!”
The news women’s stream-lined styles have been awarded their own three digit signature under the Lot 700 banner. For the irreverent cool of the form-fitting Super Skinny, it’s 710; its counterpart, 711 Skinny, is just a touch less closely cut. 721 High-Rise Skinny, with its close fit and higher waist, is all about modern pin-up glamour, whereas the 712 Slim is all about timeless chic. Then there’s the 714 Straight, the timeless and essential straight fit, and the ever-flattering and leg-lengthening Bootcut – number 715. Each fit is available of course in a range of colours and washes.
The tighter silhouette of Lot 700 fits builds on the global success last spring of the 501 CT boyfriend style jeans – a ready-customised take on the classic 501 that features a slightly lower waist and a gently tapered leg that is available in a range of heritage washes.
