Puma McQueen The Joust for AW12

With a collection inspired by medieval knights, the PUMA partnership with iconic British design house Alexander McQueen continues its rampage through the sports fashion battlefield this Autumn Winter.

Always ambitious, the Puma McQueen trainer collection for AW12 fights hard for our devotion. And the theme, which is synonymous with McQueen, takes its cues from medieval warfare – so chainmail, crashing suits of armour, crusaders in foreign fields and the flutter of tattered flags.

We’re particularly enjoying these metallic high top trainers which are the statement piece for the season. The Joust features a chain mail sole pattern, with ribbing on the tongue and heel, combined with a substantial sole unit, add to the theme. The style also offers three luxury material options on the collapsible upper – pony skin, metallic leather and soft glove leather – each of which subtly narrates the AW12 PUMA McQueen story.

The Joust are available at Poste Harvey Nichols & Offspring Selfridges
