Sophie Anderson’s Neo Floral bags for SS13

While you’re counting down the days to summer and wishing the harsh winter weather away, take a long hard look at this truly unique collection from London designer, Sophie Anderson. The Neo Floral range will certainly bring a smile to your face and inspire your spring/summer wardrobe.

This collection of bohemian style, hand woven bags is feminine with hot pink, turquoise, yellow and lime, but is given an urban edge by the striking geometric shapes, tribal designs, and eye catching floral patterns. One thing is for sure – they will put you in the mood for a very long (and of course well deserved) beach break.

What makes this collection even more desirable is the unique and thought provoking heritage behind each piece. The entire neo-floral SS13 bag collection has been hand woven by the Wayuu weavers in Columbia, an Ameridian ethnic group who are close to Sophie’s heart. The Wayuu weavers of the Guajira Peninsula spend up to 10 weeks on each piece ensuring they are made to the highest quality by the tribal craftspeople.

Having travelled the world, Sophie created the collection whilst living in South America. The ancient South American influences are more than obvious, with the geometric designs and vibrant, lively colours running throughout the collection.

You could become part of this globe trotting, beach loving story by grabbing one of these must have neo-floral bags to add a bit of magic to your summer wardrobe. Whichever you choose, you can be sure your Sophie Anderson summer buy will be brilliantly unique and fair trade inspired as well as keeping you bang on the floral trend.
