After six years producing their menswear line, Californian trainer brand SUPRA launched their first range for women this summer.

Filling a fashion gap in the womens trainer market by aiming the shoes at fashion forward sneaker lovers, it’s great news that the iconic Supra silhouettes will be reproduced in women’s sizes. Plus they are especially fashioned for women’s feet on a specially produced last.

The colour ways of the new range are bright and decidedly feminine with corals, electric blues and purples. Fabrics feature animal prints, foils and sequins on great shapes especially the ‘Society’ and ‘Skytop’ hightops styles.

For the collection launch, a specially designed, limited edition high top style has been created for Supra in collaboration with fabulous eyewear brand, A-Morir, who have designed their unique eyewear for icons from Lady Gaga to Debbie Harry and Grace Jones.

The A-Morir Skytop offers an amazing black and chrome sequined high top that fulfils all the brand’s fabulous credentials. “I wanted to design a sneaker I hadn’t seen before,” said A-Morir’s Kerin Rose. “This Skytop fills a huge need for a fashionable women’s sneaker and I know the rest of the range will at last.”

The SUPRA Footwear Collection of womens trainers is available now at SUPRA retailers and at www.suprafootwear.com
