Teva x Han Kjøbenhavn: Men’s sandals

Teva’s latest collaboration with leading men’s fashion brand Han Kjøbenhavn offers minimal and austere men’s sandals with clean lines and nostalgic shapes. It’s the perfect balance between Teva’s functional design and daring Dutch aesthetic.

The founders of Han Kjøbenhavn, Tim and Jannik, launched their brand in 2008 with a debut collection of exciting eyewear and sunglasses. The duo quickly progressed to men’s apparel inspired by traditional sportswear. Han Kjøbenhavn can be found in standalone retail stores in New York, Paris and Copenhagen, as well as in partnerships with global retailers such as ASOS. Teva meanwhile, standing for freedom in footwear, are the creators of the original sports sandal that has been a highlight of active summers for 30 years.

The collaboration came about after Teva supported Han Kjøbenhavn’s latest Copenhagen Fashion Week runway show. The ongoing dialogue between the two brands has resulted in a this new footwear collection that encapsulates what makes Danish design so world-renowned. Featuring flatform styles and cork sole detailing, Han Kjøbenhavn have implanted their signature minimalist aesthetic in the three styles produced for the collaboration. With a striking monochrome colour palette and unexpected shapes, this much-anticipated range places Teva firmly in the high-fashion spotlight.

Teva x Han Kjøbenhavn mens sandals are available at www.teva.co.uk from 18th May. Follow @Tevaeurope.
