REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky’s tale of addiction and desperation starring Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly and an Oscar nominated performance by Ellen Burstyn completes the offering alongside LOST IN TRANSLATION, writer/director Sofia Coppola’s film charting the unlikely friendship between Scarlett Johansson’s bored newly-wed and Bill Murray’s jaded ageing actor as they discover Japan.
And finally, the enigmatic and unmissable CONTROL which of course tells the story of Joy Division and Ian Curtis. The film marked the BAFTA winning directorial debut from world-renowned photographer Anton Corbijn.
